Psalm 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. “Consider how the wildflowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.” – Luke 12:27
Flower Power, Jesus Lives
Faith Walk with Jesus©️
Flowers have always been a beautiful reminder of God’s love and creativity. From their vibrant colors to their intricate designs, each bloom reflects the glory of God. Flowers are a testament to His power, His attention to detail, and His ability to create beauty in every season of life. In their quiet, humble way, they remind us that Jesus lives and is present in every corner of creation.
The Bible often uses flowers to illustrate God’s care for His creation. Jesus Himself said:
“Consider how the wildflowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.” – Luke 12:27
This verse reminds us of God’s provision and the assurance that He cares for us even more than the flowers of the field. If God pours so much care into the smallest bloom, how much more will He care for His children?
Flower Power as a Reflection of God’s Grace
Flowers represent growth, renewal, and grace. Just as flowers bloom under the warmth of the sun, we flourish under God’s love and guidance. The process of a flower growing from a seed into a full bloom mirrors our spiritual journey with Christ.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” – John 15:5
When we stay connected to Jesus, we are nourished by His power and grace. Like a flower receiving sunlight and rain, we thrive when we are rooted in His Word and surrounded by His presence.
Counting Our Blessings
Flowers also remind us to count our blessings. Their fleeting beauty encourages us to pause, reflect, and give thanks for the good things in our lives. Each petal, each fragrance, and each unique color is a gift from God.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” – Psalm 107:1
When we take time to notice the “flowers” in our own lives—the people, opportunities, and blessings God has provided—we develop a heart of gratitude. Gratitude opens our eyes to God’s power and strengthens our faith.
Flower Power in God’s House
In many ways, flowers symbolize the vibrancy and life found in God’s house. Churches are often adorned with flowers, especially during seasons of celebration like Easter and Christmas. These flowers remind us of the resurrection of Jesus and the promise of eternal life.
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” – Psalm 23:6
The beauty of flowers in worship spaces reflects the joy and reverence we have for our Savior. They remind us that Jesus’ love is alive and thriving, much like a garden bursting into bloom.
Surrendering to God’s Power
Flowers also teach us about surrender. They don’t strive or labor to grow; they simply follow the rhythm of creation. Similarly, when we surrender to God’s plan, we find peace and strength in His power.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6
Surrendering to God allows us to rest in His promises, knowing that He will guide us and provide everything we need. Like flowers that rely on the sun and rain, we can rely on God’s love and faithfulness to sustain us.
Flower Power, Jesus Lives
Flower power, Jesus lives,
His grace abounds, His love He gives.
Tulips bloom in vibrant sprays,
God’s beauty shines through purple ways.
Flower power, feel His grace,
In every bloom, His love we trace.
The house of God, His blessings flow,
Where trees take root and blossoms grow.
Flower power, count the gain,
In sunshine’s warmth and gentle rain.
His sacred power fills the air,
A glimpse of heaven everywhere.
Flower power, a gift divine,
God’s love displayed in every sign.
If you need Jesus, He’s always nearby,
His peace will chase away your fear.
Surrender to Him, let God win,
With Jesus, life begins again.
Flower power, Jesus lives,
A love eternal, a hope He gives.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6
Flowers remind us of God’s creative power and his intimate care for all creation. They teach us to trust, to grow, and to live in the beauty of His presence. May we always remember that Jesus lives, and His power is reflected in every bloom.
Amen
My favourite flowers are “Gerbera Daisies” (Yellow, vibrant and beautiful) and the majestic “Queen Annes Lace” wildflower.

A Prayer of Gratitude for God's Love and Grace
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude, in awe of Your love and grace that are as beautiful and abundant as the flowers that bloom around us. Just as the vibrant tulips and blossoms display Your perfect handiwork, we thank You for the countless ways Your beauty and love fill our lives.
Thank You for the gift of grace that surrounds us each day. In every bloom, in every ray of sunshine, and in every drop of rain, we see Your presence, Your power, and Your endless love. We are grateful for the blessings You bestow upon us—whether in nature, in relationships, or in moments of peace.
Lord, we thank You for Jesus, who lives and walks with us. His love shines brighter than any flower, and His grace covers us in ways beyond measure. We are grateful for His sacrifice and His eternal love that fills our hearts and renews our spirits.
Help us to embrace the gift of life You’ve given us. May we surrender to Your will, trusting in Your guidance, and may we share Your love with others as we go forth. Let Your peace reign in our hearts, and may we always remember the beauty of Your presence in every moment.
Thank You, Lord, for the endless signs of Your love that surround us each day. We praise You for Your grace, Your beauty, and the hope that we find in Jesus.
In Jesus Mighty Name,
The Most Holy Amen.

The Saviors Prayer and Accepting Jesus as Your King and Savior
"Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness.
I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead.
I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life.
I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.
In Your Mighty Name Jesus,
Amen, Amen, Amen."
Psalm 118:24
This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Your Word says in Isaiah 53:5,
“By His stripes, we are healed.”
The 10 Commandments Reminder
Here are the Ten Commandments, as listed in the Bible (specifically from the Book of Exodus 20:1-17, and also found in Deuteronomy 5:4-21):
You shall have no other gods before Me.
You shall not make for yourselves a carved image or any likeness of anything that is in the heaven above or on the earth below. Remember money and stuff is only stuff, not God. When you leave this earthly life it gets left behind.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Honor your father and mother. Don't take on their divine lessons God presents them with. They may have been a pain in the butt sometimes but remember it works both ways! They are part of our "Faith Walk" and we are part of theirs. We can't save them, only God can, however healthy boundaries are self loving. Sometimes we have to love them from a distance and accept their apology they never gave us. If you need a prayer to help you forgive and follow this commandment. I can help you with that so please reach out. faithwalkministries777@outlook.com
You shall not murder. This includes lies and slander where you destroy someone's reputation.
You shall not commit adultery. This includes looking at another that you aren't married to in any inappropriate way.
You shall not steal. If you steal anything, no matter how small, you are giving out the vibration to Abba Father of lack and that's what you will get more of!
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not covet your neighbor’s house, wife, or possessions.
Be blessed my friend.
