1 Thessalonians 5:"Pray without ceasing." . A Bible verse that reflects surrender to God's will is Matthew 16:24: "Then Jesus said to His disciples, 'If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.'" (NKJV)

Going the Jesus Way

Faith Walk with Jesus©️

Walking through life is a journey filled with decisions, challenges, and moments of reflection. Each step we take shapes the path we are on, and for those who walk with Jesus, that path is guided by His truth, love, and grace. “Going the Jesus Way” is more than a mantra; it’s a lifestyle rooted in faith, surrender, and an unwavering commitment to follow His example.

Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” These powerful words remind us that Jesus is the ultimate guide, the bridge between us and our Heavenly Father. When we walk in His way, we are not walking alone. We are walking with the Creator of the universe, the Savior of our souls, and the One who holds the keys to eternal life.

Living in Alignment with Jesus

To go the Jesus way means to live a life of alignment with His teachings. It starts with surrendering our plans, our fears, and our ambitions to Him. Each morning, we can begin by asking, “Jesus, how can I serve you today? Who do you want me to help? Where do you want my feet to go?” Please guide me, Lord. I give my life to you.

This level of surrender requires trust. We may not know what lies ahead, but when we trust Jesus, we can walk with peace, knowing He has already paved the way. His guidance may lead us to unexpected places or people, but His plan is always better than anything we could imagine.

A Bible verse that reflects surrender to God's will is Matthew 16:24:

"Then Jesus said to His disciples, 'If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.'" (NKJV)

This verse speaks about surrendering one's own desires and ambitions in order to follow Jesus. It's about trusting God's plan and putting His will above our own. Another verse that emphasizes surrender is Proverbs 3:5-6:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." (NKJV)

This verse encourages letting go of control and trusting God with everything.

Walking in Peace, Love, and Patience

Peace is a hallmark of walking in the way of Jesus. In a world filled with chaos and uncertainty, the peace of Jesus is a calming force that steadies our hearts. It is not just the absence of conflict but the presence of His Spirit within us, guiding us through even the most turbulent times.

The love of Jesus is another defining characteristic of this path. To go the Jesus way means to embody His love—not just for those who are easy to love, but for everyone. His love is unconditional, and when we allow it to flow

through us, it transforms not only our lives but also the lives of those we encounter.

Patience, too, is essential. As we walk with Jesus, we learn to wait on His timing. Whether we are waiting for an answer to prayer, a breakthrough in an inconvenient situation, or the fulfillment of a promise, patience keeps us rooted in faith. It reminds us that God’s timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with our own.

Bearing the Fruits of the Spirit

When we go the Jesus way, we naturally begin to bear the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). These fruits are evidence of His work within us and a testament to the transformative power of His love.

Each day offers opportunities to grow these fruits. Perhaps it’s showing kindness to a stranger, exercising self-control in a difficult moment, or extending forgiveness to someone who has hurt us. These actions, though small, reflect the heart of Jesus and draw us closer to Him.

Choosing Jesus Every Day

Going the Jesus way is not a one-time decision; it’s a daily choice. It’s waking up each morning and deciding to walk in His footsteps, to align our thoughts, words, and actions with His example. It’s about making Him the center of our lives and allowing His light to shine through us.

This journey is not always easy, but it is always worth it. The rewards of walking with Jesus—peace, purpose, and the assurance of eternal life—far outweigh any sacrifices we may make along the way. And the beauty of it all is that Jesus is with us every step, offering His strength, His wisdom, and His unwavering love.

A Prayer of Surrender to Jesus:

My Dearest Lord Jesus,

I glorify your name as I say “Thank you” for all my blessings, I start with the blessing of waking up today and the healthy breaths I take at every moment.

How gracious and kind you are my Lord to give me these blessings as I walk the earth today, I walk with your guidance at every moment, and I thank you for the honour to serve you.

I will do 5 things today, as 5 is the number of your Divine, Grace. I will ,1 Thessalonians 5:"Pray without ceasing." (NKJV) and be thankful for everything through small prayers throughout my day. Psalm 23:1-4 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want...Heals Lack programming. Say it all day.

I will read your sacred word through the Holy Bible today. I will pray each day for myself and others as you guide me, I will worship you through song and I will worship you “on my knees” as Amazing Grace plays!

Today, I surrender my heart, my mind, and my will to You. I acknowledge that You are the King of my life, and I humbly lay down my desires, my plans, and my burdens at Your feet. Help me to follow Your ways, to walk in Your truth, and to trust in Your perfect plan for me.

Thank You, Lord, for the privilege of walking in Your footsteps. Thank You for the grace You’ve shown me and for the gift of salvation through Your sacrifice. I choose to take up my cross daily and surrender my life into Your hands.

How may I serve You today, Lord? Who can I bless, encourage, or help in Your name? Open my eyes to the needs around me and fill my heart with compassion to serve others as You would.

I have come to realize that seeing every person as they were when they were born—innocent, beautiful, and new—is a truly wonderful perspective. It reminds me never to judge anyone, for we all enter this world in the same way, pure and untainted. Every baby is in need of warmth and love, yet sometimes, a beautiful child is not given the nurturing they deserve due to the unhealed wounds of others. I believe that the divine spark is present in every person, though it may sometimes remain hidden beneath layers of hurt or neglect.

Thank You, Most High God, for the strength to surrender and the peace that comes from trusting in You. I give You all the glory, honor, and praise.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus, and by the Sacred Blood of the Holy Lamb,

 The Most Holy Amen

Going the Jesus Way

Jesus, guide me on this holy day,

Show me Your path, lead the way.

Who is my assignment, Father above?

Whom shall I help with Your perfect love?

The peace of Jesus is the way I will stay,

Walking with Him through every day.

His love surrounds, His Spirit leads,

Fulfilling in me all heaven’s deeds.

The patience of Jesus calms my soul,

Teaching me trust, making me whole.

With every step, His fruits will grow,

In kindness, peace, and love, I will go.

Jesus, your truth is my guiding light,

Through darkest storms and longest nights.

I will walk in Your way, steadfast and true,

With my Heavenly Father, forever with You.

John 14:6

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

The Saviors Prayer and Accepting Jesus as Your King and Savior:

"Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness.
I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead.
I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life.
I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.
In Your Mighty Name Jesus,

Amen, Amen, Amen."

Psalm 118:24

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Your Word says in Isaiah 53:5,

“By His stripes, we are healed.”

The 10 Commandments Reminder

Here are the Ten Commandments, as listed in the Bible (specifically from the Book of Exodus 20:1-17, and also found in Deuteronomy 5:4-21):

  1. You shall have no other gods before Me.

  2. You shall not make for yourselves a carved image or any likeness of anything that is in the heaven above or on the earth below. Remember money and stuff is only stuff, not God. When you leave this earthly life it gets left behind.

  3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.

  4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

  5. Honor your father and mother. Don't take on their divine lessons God presents them with. They may have been a pain in the butt sometimes but remember it works both ways! They are part of our "Faith Walk" and we are part of theirs. We can't save them, only God can, however healthy boundaries are self loving. Sometimes we have to love them from a distance and accept their apology they never gave us. If you need a prayer to help you forgive and follow this commandment. I can help you with that so please reach out. faithwalkministries777@outlook.com

  6. You shall not murder. This includes lies and slander where you destroy someone's reputation.

  7. You shall not commit adultery. This includes looking at another that you aren't married to in any inappropriate way.

  8. You shall not steal. If you steal anything, no matter how small, you are giving out the vibration to Abba Father of lack and that's what you will get more of!

  9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

  10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house, wife, or possessions.

    Be blessed my friend.
