For The Love of Easter

Faith Walk with Jesus©️

On this solemn Good Friday, April 18, 2025, your heartfelt prayer and unwavering faith resonate deeply. As we reflect on the profound events of Good Friday and the joyous resurrection on Easter Sunday, let us journey through the sacred narrative, embracing the hope and redemption it offers.

The Passion and Crucifixion: Good Friday

Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, a pivotal moment in Christian faith symbolizing sacrifice and salvation. After the Last Supper, Jesus was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane, tried, and sentenced to death by crucifixion. He bore the weight of humanity’s sins, offering Himself as the ultimate sacrifice.

Scripture Reference:

“He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”

— Isaiah 53:5

The Resurrection: Easter Sunday

On the third day, Jesus rose from the dead, conquering sin and death. Mary Magdalene and other women discovered the empty tomb, and angels proclaimed His resurrection. This miraculous event affirmed Jesus as the Son of God and offered eternal life to all who believe.

Scripture Reference:

“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”

— Matthew 28:6

A Prayer for Provision and Faith

Heavenly Father,

On this sacred day, we thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, whose sacrifice brings us salvation. We are grateful for the provisions You bestow upon us daily. Though we may face material lack, we are rich in Your love and grace.

Lord, we envision a world where no one goes hungry, where food banks overflow with nourishing sustenance. We believe in Your power to provide and in our calling to serve. Strengthen us to be instruments of Your generosity.

May we walk in faith, sharing our blessings, and trusting in Your divine timing. Let us be vessels of Your love, bringing hope to those in need.

In Jesus Mighty Name, we pray.

Amen.

The Vision: A World of Abundance and Compassion

Envision a world where communities unite to ensure no one is in need. Imagine convoys delivering fresh, organic food to every food bank, symbolizing God’s provision and love. See volunteers joyfully serving, embodying Christ’s compassion. This vision reflects the Kingdom of God on earth—a realm of abundance, generosity, and unwavering faith.

The Saviors Prayer and Accepting Jesus as Your King and Savior

"Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness.
I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead.
I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life.
I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.
In Your Mighty Name Jesus,

Amen, Amen, Amen."

Psalm 118:24

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Your Word says in Isaiah 53:5,

“By His stripes, we are healed.”

The 10 Commandments Reminder

Here are the Ten Commandments, as listed in the Bible (specifically from the Book of Exodus 20:1-17, and also found in Deuteronomy 5:4-21):

  1. You shall have no other gods before Me.

  2. You shall not make for yourselves a carved image or any likeness of anything that is in the heaven above or on the earth below. Remember money and stuff is only stuff, not God. When you leave this earthly life it gets left behind.

  3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.

  4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

  5. Honor your father and mother. Don't take on their divine lessons God presents them with. They may have been a pain in the butt sometimes but remember it works both ways! They are part of our "Faith Walk" and we are part of theirs. We can't save them, only God can, however healthy boundaries are self loving. Sometimes we have to love them from a distance and accept their apology they never gave us. If you need a prayer to help you forgive and follow this commandment. I can help you with that so please reach out. faithwalkministries777@outlook.com

  6. You shall not murder. This includes lies and slander where you destroy someone's reputation.

  7. You shall not commit adultery. This includes looking at another that you aren't married to in any inappropriate way.

  8. You shall not steal. If you steal anything, no matter how small, you are giving out the vibration to Abba Father of lack and that's what you will get more of!

  9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

  10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house, wife, or possessions.

    Be blessed my friend.
